The 8163A / 8163B is a high-performance optical multimeter for characterization and evaluation of optical components. Its modular form makes it flexible enough to meet changing needs when measuring optical power, power loss or return loss of single or multi-mode components. The 8163A / 8163B console has two slender module slots. The system can host up to two front modules of any combination of types:
