  PA66材料虽然具备一定的吸湿性，但是在选定其进行材料加工之前，如果是一直搁置在较为干燥的温度环境中，那么基本上也是可以不用再对其进行干燥处理，当然相反的，如果储存容器曾被打开过，那么还是建议能够在温度至少85摄氏度的热空气中进行稍微的干燥处理，而如果在进行加工之前，本身湿度较大，就还需要进行至少105摄氏度的，为时12小时的真空干燥，这样才能确保杜邦尼龙FR50材料本身的尺寸稳定性，PA66尼龙料的熔化温度，是能够控制在300摄氏度的高温内，尽量避免高于这个温度值，而模具的温度则以80摄氏度为，因为模具的温度会直接影响到产品的结晶度，而结晶度又会影响到产品的物理特性，所以对于模具的温度要求还是比较严格的，对于一些薄壁塑料件来说，如果使用的模具温度低于40摄氏度，那么塑件的结晶度就会随着时间而产生微小的变化，所以一般为了保证塑件的几何稳定性，还需要一道工序，那就是退火处理。

       PA66材料在非常高的一个温度环境下，依然能够具备较优异的强度和刚度，尼龙66材料即使是在被制作成型之后任然还是会具备一定的吸湿特性，而此时的杜邦尼龙FR50塑料粒，它的吸湿程度主要取决于材料的组成和壁厚，以及环境等条件。
