 离岸使用的吸沙胶管采用高耐磨橡胶生产，管壁厚度为22毫米，内胶层厚度为7毫米，含胶量为75%，比同等厚度的Q235钢管耐磨性能要好。采用12层D3纤维帘线增强层，设计工作压力25公斤/平方厘米，可以满足2000米管线的压力要求。螺旋钢丝骨架线径为5.5毫米，要考虑到在停泵的情况下矿浆倒流产生虹吸现象，抽沙泵要加装回止阀。外胶层选用抗老化的EPDM橡胶。
