锆英砂简介

       锆英石是一种主要由火成岩形成时从岩浆中结晶出来的锆、硅和氧组成的矿物。锆英石也产于岩脉和变质岩中。它属四方晶系，常呈发育良好的锥状小四方柱体，也成不规则粒状。性脆，断口贝壳状。是优质的耐火材料。多与钛铁矿、金红石、独居石、磷钇矿等共生于海滨砂中，经水选、电选、磁选等选矿工艺分选后而得到。锆英石砂具有较低的热膨胀性、较高的导热性，而且较其他普通耐熔材料有较强的化学稳定性，因此优质锆英石和其他各种粘合剂一起有良好的粘结性而用于铸造业。锆英砂（锆英石）用于耐火材料（称锆质耐火材料，如锆刚玉砖，锆质耐火纤维），铸造行业铸型用砂（精密铸件型砂），精密搪瓷器具，此外也用于玻璃、金属（海绵锆）以及锆化合物（二氧化锆、氯氧化锆、锆酸钠、 、 锆等）的生产中。

       锆英砂（锆英石）用于耐火材料（称锆质耐火材料，如锆刚玉砖，锆质耐火纤维），铸造行业铸型用砂（精密铸件型砂），精密搪瓷器具，此外也用于玻璃、金属（海绵锆）以及锆化合物（二氧化锆、氯氧化锆、锆酸钠、 、 锆等）的生产中。可制作玻璃窑的锆英石砖，盛钢桶用锆英石砖、捣打料和浇注料；添加到其它材料中可改善其性能，如合成堇青石中添加锆英砂，可拓宽堇青石的烧结范围，而又不影响其热震稳定性；在高铝砖中添加锆英砂，制造抗剥落高铝砖，热震稳定性大大提高；还可用于提取ZrO2。锆英砂可做铸造用优质原砂，锆英砂粉是铸造用涂料主要成分。
